Architectural Control
All construction and improvements (e.g., new home construction, additions, exterior color and material changes including roofs, fences, pools and landscaping projects including tree removal) planned for a homeowner’s property must be reviewed by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) before construction / work begins.
The lot owner should contact the ACC to verify the extent of paperwork required for their project. The request must be submitted in writing/email. Depending on the project and according to the Gray Book the request may need to include the following documents: type of specific building project, type of materials and structure, physical drawing, picture or an example of the finished project, and their proposed contractor/company.
The ACC will review the request and examine all documents, conduct a physical review of the proposed project, and talk with the homeowner if additional information is needed.
